Commercial Appliance Repair for Kitchens, Offices and Laundry Rooms

A business runs on a handful of machines nobody thinks about until one stops: the reach-in on the line, the ice machine behind the counter, the dryers in a building's laundry room. We diagnose that equipment where it stands, explain the fault to the person who signs off, and repair it once the price is approved.

  • Kitchen refrigeration, ice, dish and cooking gear
  • Laundry rooms in apartment and condo buildings
  • Visits planned around your hours where possible
  • Quotes routed to whoever approves spending

Who We Work For

Independent restaurants and cafés, offices, and the apartment and condo buildings in our service area, from Arlington and Alexandria out to Reston and Ashburn. Here's the equipment each one usually calls about.

Restaurants

A line that depends on a few cold boxes and a range. When one drifts out of temperature, the menu and the health inspection both feel it.

  • Reach-in and undercounter refrigerators
  • Refrigerated prep tables and freezers
  • Commercial ranges and ovens
  • Dish machines

Cafés and coffee bars

Small footprints with a lot of equipment packed in, most of it running from opening to close.

  • Undercounter milk and pastry refrigeration
  • Ice machines for cold drinks
  • Countertop and convection ovens
  • Glass-door display coolers

Offices and break rooms

The shared refrigerator, ice maker and dishwasher that nobody claims until it breaks, and then everybody notices.

  • Break-room refrigerators and freezers
  • Ice makers and their supply lines
  • Dishwashers and microwaves
  • Visits during office hours

Apartment and condo laundry rooms

Shared washers and dryers on each floor or in a common room, where one machine down means a line for the rest.

  • Commercial and household-style washers
  • Gas and electric dryers and their exhaust
  • Stacked units in smaller rooms
  • Access arranged through management

In-unit appliances in managed buildings

Refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers and stacked laundry inside individual apartments and condos.

  • Tenant-reported faults
  • Faults found at move-out or move-in
  • Compact and stacked laundry
  • Built-in microwaves and ranges

Property managers and associations

One contact for appliance calls across several units or buildings, with findings sent to the person who approves the work.

  • Several units in one visit when booked together
  • Quotes sent to the manager or owner
  • Coordination with on-site staff
  • Findings explained to the approver

How a Business Service Call Runs

Four stages. For background on a particular machine, see what we find on ice makers that stop producing or read our notes on keeping a commercial kitchen's equipment running.

  1. 1

    Send the details

Brand, model and serial from the data plate, a description of the fault, your operating hours, and any building requirements such as a loading-dock or freight-elevator booking.

  2. 2

    Diagnosis on site

The technician confirms the failed part and looks for what's stressing the equipment: a condenser coated in kitchen grease, a clogged water filter, a dryer exhausting into a crushed duct.

  3. 3

    Approval from the right person

The quote goes to the owner, chef, office manager or property manager who can say yes. The repair waits for that approval.

  4. 4

    Repair and prevention

Once approved, the part goes in and the unit is run. If regular coil cleaning, a new filter or more clearance around the equipment would prevent a repeat, you'll hear that too.

FAQ

Questions From Owners and Managers

Brief answers to what customers most often ask us. Don't see yours? Ask when you call, or add it to the notes when you book online.

Still have a question?

Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.

Tell us your service hours and slow periods when you book, and we'll aim for a slot outside the rush when the fault allows it. Some failures can't wait for a quiet hour; if a cooler full of product is losing temperature, say so and we'll plan with that in mind.

Send the building's contractor requirements along with the request: the paperwork management wants, permitted work hours and any freight-elevator or loading-dock reservation. We'll confirm what we can provide, then set the appointment to match the building's window.

Whoever you tell us approves repairs, usually the property manager or owner. The tenant can let the technician in, but the price goes to the person paying, and no work starts until they approve it.

We repair the washer or dryer itself: drain and pump faults, door locks, motors, heat and venting. If the payment system is owned by a laundry route operator under contract, that part usually belongs to them, so check the agreement before calling.

Yes, if you list them when you book so enough time is set aside. Each appliance gets its own diagnosis and its own price, and you can approve some repairs and not others.
