Four jurisdictions, one service area
Northern Virginia doesn't divide up the way most of the country does. Virginia has independent cities that belong to no county at all, so our 7 areas fall under four separate local governments: three counties and one independent city.
Arlington County has no incorporated towns; every neighborhood in it is simply part of the county. We cover its 22201 and 22203 ZIPs, the Clarendon, Court House and Ballston side of the Metro corridor, on the Arlington appliance repair page. The City of Alexandria is independent of any county. Our Alexandria area takes in 22301 (Del Ray, Rosemont and part of Potomac Yard) and 22304 in the West End, but not Old Town.
Fairfax County holds four of our areas, and Loudoun County holds one: Ashburn's 20147.
Fairfax, Vienna and the Falls Church mailing area
Two of our Fairfax County areas need a word of explanation. The Fairfax and Vienna service page covers 22030, 22031 and 22180. ZIP 22030 is split: part of it is the City of Fairfax, an independent city since 1961 that is still the county seat, and part is county land around it, including the area near George Mason University. 22031 is mostly county (Mantua, Merrifield and the Mosaic District), with a slice inside the city. Vienna, in 22180, is an incorporated town that sits within Fairfax County.
Our Falls Church-area page is about ZIPs 22042 and 22043. Letters there are addressed to “Falls Church,” yet nearly all of those streets are in Fairfax County: West Falls Church, Pimmit Hills, Idylwood and the neighborhoods around them. The independent City of Falls Church is a different place with its own ZIP (22046), and it isn't part of our service area.
Springfield, Reston and Ashburn
These three are unincorporated communities, known to the Census Bureau as census-designated places, with no town government of their own. For repairs in Springfield we cover 22150, the central part around the Town Center and the Franconia–Springfield station; North and West Springfield carry other ZIPs and are outside our area. Reston spans 20190 and 20191, from Lake Anne and the Town Center down to Hunters Woods and South Lakes, all under the Reston Association. Our Ashburn service page covers 20147, including Ashburn Village, Ashburn Farm and One Loudoun.
Using the ZIP code, not the town name
Because city lines, town lines and mailing names overlap here, the ZIP code is the reliable test. Type it into the search box above to open a page for that ZIP listing the neighborhoods it covers, with links to its area page and to repair pages for each appliance. A place like Tysons, McLean or Old Town Alexandria may sit next door to one of our areas, but if its ZIP isn't on this page, we don't cover it.

Helping the technician reach you
A few details when you book save time on the day. In condo and apartment buildings, ask the management office whether a contractor needs paperwork, a freight-elevator booking or particular hours, and pass that along. For garages and gated communities, tell us the level, the gate code or where visitor parking is. In a townhouse, mention if the laundry is on the top floor.
After that, every visit runs the same way: the appliance is diagnosed where it's installed, you hear what failed, and you get a price to accept or decline. A photo of the model label sent with your request helps us bring the right part.
Condos, Townhouses and Houses in Northern Virginia
This page is the complete list: every area we cover, every ZIP code inside it, and a link to each area's own page. If your ZIP isn't listed, we don't regularly work there, and we'll tell you so plainly rather than book a visit we can't keep.
How a Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
