Electrolux Cooktop Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Electrolux. If the cooktop is still inside its Electrolux warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Cooktop Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Electrolux designs its cooktops
An Electrolux cooktop can be gas, radiant or induction, and each type has its own weak points. On gas models, a spill that soaks a spark switch makes the igniters click continuously, and a burner that won't light usually has a dirty electrode or a misaligned cap. Radiant models use elements with a built-in limiter, and a burned terminal or failed element leaves one zone cold. Induction units hide their coils, power electronics and a small blower under the glass, and the control shuts a zone down if they overheat or don't detect a suitable pan. Cracked glass needs replacing as a unit. We confirm the type and model from the label under the cooktop before ordering any part.
Common failure points on Electrolux cooktops
- Spark switch wet after a boil-over
- Electrode fouled, burner slow to light
- Radiant element terminal burned
- Induction board failing
- Cooling fan under glass slowed

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
A spill has likely wicked into one of the spark switches under the knobs. Kill the circuit and give it a full day to dry out. If it keeps clicking, the switch or spark module needs replacing, and we can test which one.
Not usually. A single zone can fail because of its coil, its section of the power board or a temperature sensor. We test the zone and board and check whether that part is still available for your model.
