Thermador Oven Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Thermador. If the oven is still inside its Thermador warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Thermador designs its ovens
Thermador wall ovens are large and work hard, so heat management is central to most faults. The cooling fan clears heat from the control area and door; if it slows or stops, the oven shuts down or displays a fault. Bake, broil and convection elements burn out with age, and convection fans develop bearing noise. The door lock can stick after a self-clean cycle. Steam ovens need regular descaling or their water systems clog. Speed ovens bring microwave components into the cavity. We test the cooling fan and sensor first, then elements and locks, and treat microwave-side parts with high-voltage precautions.
Common failure points on Thermador ovens
- Cooling fan not moving air
- Convection element open
- Door lock stuck after cleaning cycle
- Steam system scaled
- Temperature sensor off calibration

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Not always. Run the full descale routine as the manual describes. If the warning persists, a sensor, pump or blocked line may be at fault, and we can test those parts.
