Dacor Oven Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Dacor. If the oven is still inside its Dacor warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Dacor designs its ovens
Dacor built its reputation on the wall oven, and most of the ovens we see are double units in a tall cabinet. Their convection system relies on a rear element and fan, so when regular bake works and convection doesn't, expect an open element or a seized fan motor. Temperature problems trace to the probe in the oven cavity or to a relay board that no longer switches an element. Older Dacor ovens are well known for touch controls that stop responding, and the Discovery iQ models use an Android tablet as the controller. When a control fails, we test elements, sensors and wiring first so a board isn't blamed for a fault elsewhere, and then check whether the board is still available.
Common failure points on Dacor ovens
- Convection fan motor seized
- Convection element open
- Cavity probe reading high
- Relay board not switching the bake element
- Touch panel unresponsive

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Not necessarily. Sometimes it's a power supply or connection, not the screen. If the panel itself has failed, it depends on whether a replacement exists. We test first and check supply before quoting.
Convection uses its own element and fan. If one of them has failed, bake works and convection doesn't. Both can be tested and replaced.
