Avanti Oven Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords

We are independent and have no tie to Avanti. If the oven is still inside its Avanti warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.

Stacked & closet laundry
Townhouses and condos often put a stacked washer-dryer in an upstairs closet, so a small drip can end up staining the room underneath. Tell us where the machines sit.
Condo & high-rise rules
Many managed buildings ask for a certificate of insurance, a reserved freight elevator or set work hours. Check with yours and pass the rules along when you book.
Parking & access
Visitor spaces, garage clearance, gate codes and front-desk sign-in all shape a visit. Mention them at booking so nothing holds up the diagnosis.
Rentals & landlords
A tenant can book the visit. We report the fault and the price to the owner or property manager, who signs off before any work starts.
Garages, heat & humidity
A garage fridge or freezer can struggle through a hot, humid summer or a hard cold snap without any part failing. Check the temperature range in its manual.
Straight answers
When an older appliance isn't worth repairing, we say so and explain exactly which part failed.

How an Oven Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us What's Wrong

Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.

02

Diagnosis at Your Home

The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.

03

A Price Before Work

We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.

04

Repair and Check

The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.

Inside an Avanti oven

The oven in a narrow Avanti range is small, and small ovens are touchy about temperature: a few degrees of error matters more when the food sits close to the element. On electric models we meter the bake and broil elements and the thermostat or sensor. Gas ovens, depending on the model, light with a hot-surface igniter paired with a safety valve, and a weak igniter is a classic cause of an oven that clicks and smells of gas but won't light. Older or basic models use a capillary thermostat instead of an electronic sensor. We also check the door hinges and the gasket, because a door that sags on a 20-inch range lets heat pour out and throws off every bake.

Common failure points on Avanti ovens

  • Hot-surface igniter too weak to open the valve
  • Bake element burned through
  • Capillary thermostat off calibration
  • Door hinge sagging and leaking heat
  • Oven light socket shorting

Faults shared by every make are explained on the main oven repair page.

FAQ

Avanti Oven FAQ

Brief answers to what customers most often ask us. Don't see yours? Ask when you call, or add it to the notes when you book online.

Still have a question?

Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.

Very likely. A glow-bar igniter can still glow while drawing too little current to open the gas safety valve. We measure the current draw, and if it's low, replacing the igniter is the usual fix.

In a small cavity the bottom rack sits close to the heat, so rack position matters. If baking was fine before, we check the thermostat calibration and make sure the element or burner isn't staying on past the set temperature.
