Frigidaire Oven Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords

How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Frigidaire designs its ovens
Frigidaire wall ovens are mostly electric, and the typical faults are straightforward. A bake element that has blistered or burned through makes the oven slow to preheat or uneven; a broil element failure affects only broiling. Convection and air fry modes depend on a fan and sometimes a separate element behind the rear panel. The oven sensor tells the control the temperature, and a failing sensor causes over- or under-baking. Double ovens have two sets of these parts. Self-clean cycles put stress on door locks and control boards. Each element, the probe and the fan motor get tested while hot, because some failures only show once the metal expands.
Common failure points on Frigidaire ovens
- Bake element burned through
- Air fry fan stopped
- Oven sensor out of spec
- Door lock stuck after self-clean
- Control not responding to touch

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Air fry relies on the convection fan and heating elements working together. A slow or failed fan, or a weak element, reduces airflow and heat. We test both and the oven sensor.
Common signs are food consistently over- or under-cooked, or the oven overshooting the set temperature. We test the sensor's resistance and compare it with what the oven actually reaches.
