LG Oven Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords

We are independent and have no tie to LG. If the oven is still inside its LG warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.

Stacked & closet laundry
Townhouses and condos often put a stacked washer-dryer in an upstairs closet, so a small drip can end up staining the room underneath. Tell us where the machines sit.
Condo & high-rise rules
Many managed buildings ask for a certificate of insurance, a reserved freight elevator or set work hours. Check with yours and pass the rules along when you book.
Parking & access
Visitor spaces, garage clearance, gate codes and front-desk sign-in all shape a visit. Mention them at booking so nothing holds up the diagnosis.
Rentals & landlords
A tenant can book the visit. We report the fault and the price to the owner or property manager, who signs off before any work starts.
Garages, heat & humidity
A garage fridge or freezer can struggle through a hot, humid summer or a hard cold snap without any part failing. Check the temperature range in its manual.
Straight answers
When an older appliance isn't worth repairing, we say so and explain exactly which part failed.

How an Oven Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us What's Wrong

Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.

02

Diagnosis at Your Home

The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.

03

A Price Before Work

We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.

04

Repair and Check

The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.

How LG designs its ovens

LG ovens, in both ranges and wall units, combine a temperature probe on the rear wall, bake and broil elements or burners, and on many models ProBake convection, which mounts the heating element around the rear fan. When that element fails, convection bake goes cool while regular bake still works. EasyClean runs a short low-heat cycle with water, and some models also offer a full self-clean, which stresses the door lock motor and its switches. F-codes on the display point to a sensor, lock or control fault, and their meanings vary by model. Touch panels that stop responding can be a keypad fault or a lost connection between boards. We look up the code for your model, then measure before replacing.

Common failure points on LG ovens

  • ProBake rear element burned out
  • Oven sensor open or shorted
  • Door lock motor stalled
  • Touch panel keys not responding
  • Gas bake igniter weak

FAQ

LG Oven FAQ

Brief answers to what customers most often ask us. Don't see yours? Ask when you call, or add it to the notes when you book online.

Still have a question?

Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.

On ProBake models the convection heater is wrapped around the fan at the back of the cavity. If that heater has opened or the fan motor has quit, convection runs cold while ordinary bake carries on. We test both before ordering anything.

No. EasyClean is a short, low-temperature cycle that uses water to loosen light soil. Self-clean runs much hotter and locks the door. Some LG ranges have both. Heavy use of self-clean is harder on door locks and fuses.
