Gaggenau Microwave Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Gaggenau. If the microwave is still inside its Gaggenau warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Microwave Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Gaggenau designs its microwaves
Gaggenau's microwave options are built into the oven wall: stand-alone microwaves and speed ovens that pair microwave energy with convection heat. Inside, they carry the usual high-voltage chain of transformer, capacitor, diode and magnetron, plus door interlocks and a cooling fan that matters more in a closed cabinet than on a countertop. A unit that runs but stays cold may have a failed magnetron or high-voltage part; one that won't start often has an interlock fault. Speed ovens add a convection element and fan, so a complaint may belong to either system. Removal means sliding the unit out of its niche without marking the trim. The capacitor holds a dangerous charge, so testing is a technician's job.
Common failure points on Gaggenau microwaves
- Magnetron not producing heat
- Door interlock out of adjustment
- Cabinet cooling fan failed
- Speed oven convection element open
- Touch control unresponsive

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
The microwave function uses separate high-voltage parts. A magnetron, diode or capacitor fault can stop microwave heating while the convection side still works. We test those components safely.
It's routine but careful work. We plan the removal to avoid marking the trim or cabinetry and reinstall it square in its opening.
