Bosch Microwave Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Bosch. If the microwave is still inside its Bosch warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Microwave Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Bosch designs its microwaves
Bosch microwave drawers open and close on a motorized drive, and a drawer that stalls, won't close fully or opens on its own usually has a problem in the drive motor, its gears or the position switches. Heating faults are the familiar microwave ones: a failed magnetron, diode or capacitor leaves the unit running without warming food. Door interlock switches wear and can blow a fuse. Over-the-range models add vent fans and lights that clog with grease. Speed ovens add a convection element and fan. High-voltage parts stay dangerous after power is off, so we discharge the capacitor before testing and never operate a unit with a switch bypassed.
Common failure points on Bosch microwaves
- Drawer drive gear stripped
- Magnetron or diode failed
- Interlock switch blew the fuse
- Vent fan clogged with grease
- Touch panel dead

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
First check for anything caught in the track. If it's clear, the drive motor, gears or a position switch is usually the problem. Those parts can be replaced without changing the whole drawer.
