JennAir Refrigerator Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to JennAir. If the refrigerator is still inside its JennAir warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Refrigerator Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How JennAir designs its refrigerators
JennAir refrigerators are built-in and column designs, many panel-ready, and the first job is finding out how yours is cooled. Some designs give each section its own evaporator and fan, while others feed both from one coil, and that decides whether a warm fresh-food side is its own problem or a symptom of trouble in the freezer. Columns have their own sealed systems, so a refrigerator column and a freezer column are separate problems. The condenser on a built-in usually sits up top behind a grille, and a dusty coil there makes the whole unit run warm and long. Ice makers and water valves fail as they do everywhere. Heavy panel doors wear the hinges and closers until the door stops sealing, which then shows up as frost and sweating.
Common failure points on JennAir refrigerators
- One section warm from its own defrost fault
- Top-mounted condenser clogged
- Ice maker or water valve failure
- Door closer worn on a panel door
- Column temperature drifting

JennAir Refrigerator FAQ
Brief answers to what customers most often ask us. Don't see yours? Ask when you call, or add it to the notes when you book online.
Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
It depends on how your model moves cold air. We identify whether the section has its own coil and fan or shares the freezer's, then test the fan, sensor and defrost parts on that path.
Usually. The hinge closer or cam wears under the weight of the panel, and we adjust or replace it so the door seals again.
