Thor Kitchen Range Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords

We are independent and have no tie to Thor Kitchen. If the range is still inside its Thor Kitchen warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.

Stacked & closet laundry
Townhouses and condos often put a stacked washer-dryer in an upstairs closet, so a small drip can end up staining the room underneath. Tell us where the machines sit.
Condo & high-rise rules
Many managed buildings ask for a certificate of insurance, a reserved freight elevator or set work hours. Check with yours and pass the rules along when you book.
Parking & access
Visitor spaces, garage clearance, gate codes and front-desk sign-in all shape a visit. Mention them at booking so nothing holds up the diagnosis.
Rentals & landlords
A tenant can book the visit. We report the fault and the price to the owner or property manager, who signs off before any work starts.
Garages, heat & humidity
A garage fridge or freezer can struggle through a hot, humid summer or a hard cold snap without any part failing. Check the temperature range in its manual.
Straight answers
When an older appliance isn't worth repairing, we say so and explain exactly which part failed.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us What's Wrong

Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.

02

Diagnosis at Your Home

The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.

03

A Price Before Work

We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.

04

Repair and Check

The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.

How Thor Kitchen designs its ranges

A Thor range can be anything from a 30-inch all-gas model to a 48-inch unit with two oven cavities, and the fuel decides where we start. Gas ovens hinge on the glow igniter and safety valve. Electric and dual-fuel ovens depend on elements, a relay or board and a temperature probe. Induction tops add power electronics that need their fan to survive. What every version shares is a convection motor that wears out its bearings and a door heavy enough to pull its hinges out of true. Most of those parts cost a fraction of the range, so repair usually wins here. Pulling a Thor out is a two-person job, and we re-hook the anti-tip bracket and look over the flex gas line before it goes back.

Common failure points on Thor Kitchen ranges

  • Oven igniter or element failed
  • Burner ignition faults
  • Convection fan grinding
  • Heavy door hinges worn
  • Second oven not heating

Faults shared by every make are explained on the main range repair page.

FAQ

Thor Kitchen Range FAQ

Brief answers to what customers most often ask us. Don't see yours? Ask when you call, or add it to the notes when you book online.

Still have a question?

Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.

No. Each oven has its own igniter or elements and sensor, so the fault is almost always in that oven alone. We test its parts separately.

Yes. We test the gas cooktop and the electric oven as separate systems and check part availability by model number.
