Amana Range Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords

We are independent and have no tie to Amana. If the range is still inside its Amana warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.

Stacked & closet laundry
Townhouses and condos often put a stacked washer-dryer in an upstairs closet, so a small drip can end up staining the room underneath. Tell us where the machines sit.
Condo & high-rise rules
Many managed buildings ask for a certificate of insurance, a reserved freight elevator or set work hours. Check with yours and pass the rules along when you book.
Parking & access
Visitor spaces, garage clearance, gate codes and front-desk sign-in all shape a visit. Mention them at booking so nothing holds up the diagnosis.
Rentals & landlords
A tenant can book the visit. We report the fault and the price to the owner or property manager, who signs off before any work starts.
Garages, heat & humidity
A garage fridge or freezer can struggle through a hot, humid summer or a hard cold snap without any part failing. Check the temperature range in its manual.
Straight answers
When an older appliance isn't worth repairing, we say so and explain exactly which part failed.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us What's Wrong

Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.

02

Diagnosis at Your Home

The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.

03

A Price Before Work

We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.

04

Repair and Check

The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.

Inside an Amana range

Amana's newer ranges have a digital clock and oven control, a self-clean setting and, on some, extra oven capacity. The electronics bring a few new failures. An oven that shows an error code and won't heat usually has a failed sensor or door lock rather than a failed board, so we test those first. Touchpads can stop responding to one or more keys. Self-clean cycles run the oven very hot, which is when weak parts give out, so a range that failed during or right after cleaning often has a blown thermal fuse. Gas ranges add the igniter and the surface ignition. Every time we move a range, we check that the anti-tip bracket is in place.

Common failure points on Amana ranges

  • Oven sensor error
  • Touchpad keys unresponsive
  • Door lock failure after self-clean
  • Control board relay stuck
  • Gas igniter weak

Faults shared by every make are explained on the main range repair page.

FAQ

Amana Range FAQ

Brief answers to what customers most often ask us. Don't see yours? Ask when you call, or add it to the notes when you book online.

Still have a question?

Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.

Not necessarily. An F code names a circuit, not a part, and the probe or lock on that circuit fails more often than the board that reports it.

It depends on the age of the range and whether the board is available. We check both and give you a straight answer.
