Admiral Range Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Admiral. If the range is still inside its Admiral warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
Inside an Admiral range
Admiral ranges are simple 30-inch freestanding models. Electric versions plug into a 240-volt outlet, and the cord connects at a terminal block on the back; a loose screw there can overheat and cut one leg of power so that half the range quits. Gas versions need 120 volts for the igniters and clock as well as the gas line, so a tripped GFCI can make the range seem dead. Every range needs an anti-tip bracket at a rear foot, and it's often missing after a move or a floor replacement. Control boards switch elements through relays that can stick. Because these ranges slide out easily, most repairs are quick to reach once the floor is protected.
Common failure points on Admiral ranges
- One power leg lost at cord
- Gas range dead from GFCI trip
- Anti-tip bracket not installed
- Oven relay welded closed
- Surface element terminal loose

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
A relay on the control board may have welded shut. Turn it off at the breaker and don't use it until it's repaired. We test the relay and replace the board or relay as needed.
Freestanding ranges are supposed to be anchored at a rear foot so the range can't pitch forward if a child climbs on the open door or a heavy pot rests there. The bracket often goes missing after a move or new flooring, so we look for it whenever we pull a range out and can fit one.
