Step one covers the appliance; step two, your contact details. We follow up to book the visit.
AGA Range Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to AGA. If the range is still inside its AGA warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How AGA designs its ranges
AGA Elise and Mercury ranges are conventional multi-oven ranges, and they fail in familiar ways. Fan oven elements burn out, convection motors grow noisy, and oven thermostats drift. Dual-fuel models have spark ignition on the burners, and spills can soak spark switches or crack electrodes. Induction models rely on power boards and cooling fans. Doors and hinges bear weight and wear over time. We test elements, motors and thermostats, check spark and flame sensing, and quote repairs based on parts availability, since some items ship from overseas.
Common failure points on AGA ranges
- Fan oven element burned out
- Convection motor noisy
- Spark switch shorted by spill
- Oven thermostat drifting
- Door hinge worn

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
On burners with a flame safety device, the thermocouple must warm and hold the valve open. A thermocouple that has weakened, or sits slightly out of the flame, lets the valve close. We test and replace it if needed.
