Thermador Range Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Thermador. If the range is still inside its Thermador warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Thermador designs its ranges
Pro Grand ranges run as wide as 60 inches, Pro Harmony models a little narrower,, with multiple ovens, griddles and grills on some. The spark and reignition system is the most common source of trouble, since it serves every burner and reacts to spills. Oven igniters, convection fans and door hinges follow. Larger models may have separate controls for each oven, so a fault in one doesn't mean the other has failed. Griddle thermostats and elements wear with use. These ranges are heavy and often sit on a dedicated gas line under a strong hood, so we plan any removal carefully and leak-test after reconnecting.
Common failure points on Thermador ranges
- Reignition module sparking constantly
- Oven igniter weak
- Griddle thermostat failed
- Convection fan motor worn
- Oven door hinge sagging

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Yes. The griddle has its own element or burner, thermostat and controls. We test those separately from the rest of the range.
