LG Range Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to LG. If the range is still inside its LG warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How LG designs its ranges
LG ranges cover freestanding and slide-in designs in gas, electric, induction and dual-fuel, and some have InstaView doors that light up when you knock. The larger models carry a main control, a separate display and relays for each element, so a fault can sit in any of them. Dual-fuel ranges need both a gas supply and 240 volts, and a problem in either affects different functions. Convection fans, oven sensors and door locks cause plenty of calls, and slide-in models run hotter around the controls because they sit flush between cabinets. On all of them, we confirm the power and fuel supply, read the code, and test the part before quoting.
Common failure points on LG ranges
- InstaView door light not working
- Relay on main board failed
- Dual-fuel oven losing 240 volts
- Convection fan motor noisy
- Surface igniter cracked

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
The oven on a dual-fuel range is electric, so it depends on the 240-volt supply. A tripped breaker, a loose terminal or a failed element can leave the oven dead while the gas burners still work.
The light and the sensor that responds to knocks are separate parts from the glass. We check each one and quote replacement parts by model number.
