Dacor Range Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Dacor. If the range is still inside its Dacor warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Dacor designs its ranges
Dacor ranges come as all-gas, dual-fuel and induction, and the fault list depends on which. All-gas ovens light with a glow-bar igniter that must pass enough current before the valve will open, and a weak one gives a slow or cold oven. Dual-fuel ranges heat the oven with electric elements, including a convection element, controlled by relays on a board. Some models carry a griddle with a separate burner and control. Induction ranges have cooling fans that clog with dust and power boards that protect themselves by shutting zones down. Many Dacor ranges in older homes predate the Samsung acquisition, and their boards are harder to source, so we confirm supply before recommending a board replacement.
Common failure points on Dacor ranges
- Oven glow bar not opening the valve
- Dual-fuel convection element open
- Griddle burner not lighting
- Induction cooling fan clogged
- Burner valve stiff or leaking

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
The oven is electric. Elements, the probe, relays or the control are at fault. The gas side runs independently, which is why the burners still work.
Usually. Igniters, elements, valves and door parts are often available. Some older boards aren't, so we check before quoting.
