Hobart Dishwasher Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Hobart. If the dishwasher is still inside its Hobart warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Hobart designs its dishwashers
A Hobart that stops washing well rarely has one dramatic failure. More often, scale and food soil build up until one part tips over. Scale on the booster element makes the final rinse fall short of temperature, and the element eventually burns open. Wash pump seals seep, and if the leak runs long enough the motor bearings suffer. Clogged rinse nozzles leave spotted glassware and poor sanitizing. On door-type AM machines, a hood that doesn't seat fully keeps the cycle from starting, and on CL conveyors a slipping drive or torn curtain lets racks jam or splash. We read the machine's temperature and fill behavior, inspect arms and strainers, and test the booster, pump and switches before quoting.
Common failure points on Hobart dishwashers
- Booster element scaled or burned open
- Wash pump seal seeping
- Rinse nozzles clogged with minerals
- Hood switch not sensing closure
- Conveyor drive slipping or curtain torn
- Fill solenoid not opening

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
The machine needs a switch to confirm the hood is fully closed. A bent hood, a worn switch or a loose connection will stop the cycle. If that's fine, we check tank fill and temperature interlocks next.
Film usually comes from scale, low rinse aid or detergent, or a partly blocked rinse arm. Deliming the machine and checking chemical containers often fixes it. If not, we look at rinse pressure and temperature.
