Samsung Dishwasher Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Samsung. If the dishwasher is still inside its Samsung warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Samsung designs its dishwashers
Samsung dishwashers watch their own water closely, and the codes follow from that. LC means the leak sensor in the base pan has found water, which may be a genuine leak at a hose or pump seal or just suds from the wrong detergent. OC means too much water in the tub, often because a slow drain let the level creep up. HE points to the heating side, which covers the element, its relay on the board and the thermistor. On models with the WaterWall bar, a spray-deflector track that jams leaves one side of the rack dirty. A technician starts with the filter and sump, then the drain path through the garbage disposal connection, because a clogged knockout on a new disposal can mimic a failed pump.
Common failure points on Samsung dishwashers
- LC leak code from water in the base pan
- OC overfill after a slow drain
- Heater or thermistor fault (HE)
- WaterWall vane stuck on its track
- Drain pump jammed with glass or seeds
Faults shared by every make are explained on the main dishwasher repair page.

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Tipping it forward or waiting for the base pan to dry will sometimes clear the code, but the water came from somewhere. It could be suds, a loose hose or a pump seal. We look for the source so the code doesn't return a week later with a wet floor.
On models with the WaterWall spray system, a moving vane sweeps water across the tub along a track. If a utensil or food debris jams it, one side gets most of the spray. We check the track, the vane motor and the diverter before anything else.
