Frigidaire Dishwasher Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Frigidaire. If the dishwasher is still inside its Frigidaire warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Frigidaire designs its dishwashers
Frigidaire dishwashers use i-codes to point to the problem. i10 says the tub filled too slowly, and the cause might be the shutoff under the sink, a pinched supply tube or the inlet valve itself. i20 says water isn't leaving on time, so we look at the filter assembly, the drain loop and the disposal inlet, which on a newly installed disposal may still have its knockout plug in place. i30 means water has reached the base pan, often from a leak at a door seal or hose. Beyond codes, a dishwasher that won't latch or start may have a worn door latch. We clear the filter and check the supply and drain lines before replacing the pump or control.
Common failure points on Frigidaire dishwashers
- i10 slow fill from a half-shut valve
- i20 drain restriction at the filter
- i30 leak into the base pan
- Door latch worn, cycle won't start
- Circulation motor humming but not spinning
Faults shared by every make are explained on the main dishwasher repair page.

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Probably not. i20 usually means a drain restriction: a clogged filter, a kinked drain hose, or a blocked disposal connection. Clean the filter first. If the code keeps coming back, we check the hose and pump.
i30 means water got into the base pan. On a new installation, a loose supply or drain connection is a common cause. Check under the unit for water. We can find the leak and reset the float.
