Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Fisher & Paykel. If the dishwasher is still inside its Fisher & Paykel warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Fisher & Paykel designs its dishwashers
A DishDrawer seals itself by lowering a lid onto the drawer's tub at the start of every cycle, and many problems trace back to that motion. If the lid motor or its linkage is slow, or the seal is torn, water escapes and the flood pan fills, which raises F1. Motor rotor faults show as F2, and a drawer that isn't getting water tends to raise F7. Beyond codes, the flexible hose and wiring harness that follow the drawer in and out wear at the bend, and a clogged filter causes poor washing and slow draining. We note which drawer threw which code, inspect the lid and harness, and test the pump and valve rather than simply resetting the unit.
Common failure points on Fisher & Paykel dishwashers
- F1 flood pan tripped by lid leak
- F2 motor rotor fault
- F7 fill valve not delivering water
- Harness or hose worn at the fold
- Lid motor slow to close

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
It means water has reached the flood pan under the drawer. A torn lid seal, a drawer not fully closed or a lid that isn't lowering properly are the usual reasons. We find where the water escaped before clearing the code.
Each drawer has its own filter and pump, so one drawer can clog while the other runs fine. Clean that drawer's filter first. If washing stays poor, we check its pump and spray arm.
