Dacor Dishwasher Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords

How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Dacor designs its dishwashers
Dacor dishwashers from the Samsung era share much of their design with Samsung's premium dishwashers, including a base-pan leak sensor that stops the wash and pumps out when it detects water. That stop-and-drain behavior surprises owners, and the job is finding the source of the water: a loose hose clamp, a sump seal, or suds from using the wrong detergent. Filters under the lower rack need regular cleaning, and a clogged filter shows up as food left on plates and water left in the tub. Drain pumps catch glass and seeds. Custom panels add weight, and the hinge springs on some models break under that load, leaving the door to drop. Fill valves fail too, and a slow fill leads to poor washing.
Common failure points on Dacor dishwashers
- Leak sensor halting the cycle
- Sump seal weeping into the base
- Filter clogged under the lower rack
- Hinge spring snapped under a panel
- Fill valve opening slowly

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
That's typically the leak sensor. Water has reached the base, and the machine is protecting your floor. We find the leak, whether a hose, seal or suds, fix it and dry the base.
Clean the filter under the lower rack first and check that the spray arms spin freely. If cleaning is still poor, the wash pump or fill valve is tested.
