Thermador Stove Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords

We are independent and have no tie to Thermador. If the stove is still inside its Thermador warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.

Stacked & closet laundry
Townhouses and condos often put a stacked washer-dryer in an upstairs closet, so a small drip can end up staining the room underneath. Tell us where the machines sit.
Condo & high-rise rules
Many managed buildings ask for a certificate of insurance, a reserved freight elevator or set work hours. Check with yours and pass the rules along when you book.
Parking & access
Visitor spaces, garage clearance, gate codes and front-desk sign-in all shape a visit. Mention them at booking so nothing holds up the diagnosis.
Rentals & landlords
A tenant can book the visit. We report the fault and the price to the owner or property manager, who signs off before any work starts.
Garages, heat & humidity
A garage fridge or freezer can struggle through a hot, humid summer or a hard cold snap without any part failing. Check the temperature range in its manual.
Straight answers
When an older appliance isn't worth repairing, we say so and explain exactly which part failed.

How a Stove Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us What's Wrong

Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.

02

Diagnosis at Your Home

The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.

03

A Price Before Work

We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.

04

Repair and Check

The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.

How Thermador designs its stoves

Most owners call their Thermador range the stove, and whether it's a Pro Harmony or a Pro Grand, the typical faults look the same from the front. Oven igniters weaken over time, so preheating takes far longer than it used to, or the oven never lights. Star burners click without lighting when the spark switch or electrode fails. Convection fans grow noisy and oven sensors drift, throwing off baking. Dual-fuel models use electric ovens, so no-heat there comes from elements, relays or sensors. We check igniter current, burner spark, element resistance and sensor readings in order, and quote before any parts go in.

Common failure points on Thermador stoves

  • Oven igniter weak
  • Star burner won't spark
  • Convection fan noisy
  • Oven sensor drifting
  • Dual-fuel oven relay failing

Faults shared by every make are explained on the main stove repair page.

FAQ

Thermador Stove FAQ

Brief answers to what customers most often ask us. Don't see yours? Ask when you call, or add it to the notes when you book online.

Still have a question?

Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.

In a gas oven, the igniter losing strength with age is the first suspect. On dual-fuel models, a failing element or relay can do the same. We measure the parts to find which applies.
