Booking online? The Avanti stove model number in the form lets us check parts before we arrive.
Step one covers the appliance; step two, your contact details. We follow up to book the visit.
Avanti Stove Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Avanti. If the stove is still inside its Avanti warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
Inside an Avanti stove
In homes with an Avanti stove, the range is usually the only cooking appliance, so any fault stops dinner. On gas models, burners usually fail to light because of wet or cracked electrodes, a stuck spark switch, or ports clogged by boil-over. On electric stoves, the coil or radiant element, its receptacle and the infinite switch account for most calls, and the oven side brings its own element and thermostat problems. Before calling us, check that a GFCI or breaker hasn't tripped and that the gas valve behind the range is open, especially after a move or a floor refinishing. When we arrive, we test the top and the oven separately, since their faults rarely share a cause.
Common failure points on Avanti stoves
- Burner ignites only after several tries
- Surface coil dead on one side
- Knob switch worn and loose
- Oven thermostat reading low
- Gas shutoff left partly closed

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Usually not the same part. The burners or coils and the oven run on separate circuits or valves. On gas, the oven igniter is the most frequent culprit; on electric, it's the bake element or the thermostat.
A brief whiff before the flame catches can be normal. A steady smell is not. Turn the burners off, ventilate, and if the smell persists, leave the house and call your gas company or 911 from outside. We can service the range once the gas utility has cleared it.
