Ice makers are a frequent call, whether the fill tube is frozen, the valve has failed or the module has stopped cycling. Drawer slides carry a lot of weight in bottom-freezer models and can bend, keeping the drawer from sealing. In a humid summer that gap adds frost quickly. We melt and inspect the coil, test the heater and sensor, check the ice maker's water supply and function, and confirm the drawer or door closes fully.
