ASKO Dryer Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to ASKO. If the dryer is still inside its ASKO warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Dryer Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How ASKO designs its dryers
ASKO dryers come in vented, condensing and heat-pump designs, and the diagnosis depends on which you have. Vented models fail like most dryers: a restricted duct trips the thermal cutout or burns out the element. Condensing and heat-pump dryers trade the duct for a heat exchanger and water path, so a clogged condenser, full container or failed pump stops drying. Heat-pump models run cooler and take longer by design. Belts, idlers and moisture sensors wear on all types. We identify the model type first, then check airflow, heating, the condenser and pump, and the sensors in order.
Common failure points on ASKO dryers
- Thermal cutout tripped from poor venting
- Heating element open
- Condenser clogged with lint
- Condensate pump stalled
- Moisture sensor coated
Faults shared by every make are explained on the main dryer repair page.

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
On condensing models, a float or sensor tells the dryer when the container is full. A stuck float, failed pump or blocked hose can trigger the warning. We check the water path and sensor.
