Booking online? The LG dryer model number in the form lets us check parts before we arrive.
Step one covers the appliance; step two, your contact details. We follow up to book the visit.
LG Dryer Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to LG. If the dryer is still inside its LG warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Dryer Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How LG designs its dryers
Many LG dryers carry the Flow Sense system, which watches exhaust airflow and posts d80, d90 or d95 as the restriction gets worse. Most of those calls end at the vent: long runs through a townhouse wall, crushed foil ducts behind a stacked pair, or a roof cap packed with lint. Past the vent, electric models fail at the heater or its thermal limit, and gas models at the igniter or valve coils. Thermistor codes, such as tE1 or tE2, point to a temperature sensor or its wiring. Mechanically, drum rollers and belts wear, and a squeal at startup often means the idler. WashTower dryers need extra care to reach. We measure airflow and component values before calling a part bad.
Common failure points on LG dryers
- d90 duct restriction warning
- Heater element burned open
- tE thermistor out of range
- Gas valve coils failing on relight
- Drum support rollers worn

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
d80 means the dryer sees a significant restriction in the exhaust. It keeps running, but drying slows and heat builds. Cleaning the duct run and the outside vent usually clears it. If not, we check the path through the dryer.
Gas valve coils that weaken with heat often fail to reopen the valve after the burner cycles. We test the coils and the flame sensor to confirm before replacing anything.
