Step one covers the appliance; step two, your contact details. We follow up to book the visit.
Electrolux Washer Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Electrolux. If the washer is still inside its Electrolux warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Washer Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Electrolux designs its washers
Electrolux front-loaders report most faults with E-codes: E11 for a slow fill, E21 for a drain that takes too long, E35 when the pressure sensor thinks the tub is overfilled, and E41 when the control sees the door as open. An E21 is often a clogged pump filter behind the lower kick panel, but a kinked hose or a worn pump will cause it too. SmartBoost models have a small pump and mixing chamber that can clog with thick detergent. Steam washers add a steam generator that scales up over time. Tub bearings get noisy after years of heavy spins, and the door boot collects mildew if the door stays shut between loads. We check the filter, hoses and pump before replacing anything electronic.
Common failure points on Electrolux washers
- E21 drain delay from a clogged pump filter
- Door lock not reading closed (E41)
- SmartBoost chamber gummed with detergent
- Tub bearings rumbling in spin
- Door boot mildewed or split
- Steam generator scaled up
Faults shared by every make are explained on the main washer repair page.

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Start with the pump filter behind the small panel at the bottom front. Put towels and a shallow pan down first. Coins, hair ties and lint often block it. If the filter is clean and the code returns, the drain hose, standpipe or pump needs testing.
SmartBoost mixes detergent and water before it enters the drum. It has a small pump and chamber, and heavy or undiluted detergent can clog it over time. If dispensing seems off or a related code shows, we check that assembly separately from the rest of the washer.
