Samsung Washer Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to Samsung. If the washer is still inside its Samsung warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Washer Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How Samsung designs its washers
Samsung washers rely on sensors and codes more than most, which helps and misleads in equal measure. A front-loader that stops mid-cycle with 5C has seen the water level fall too slowly, so the pump filter behind the lower access panel, the drain hose and the pump itself all get checked in that order. A dC or UE code in spin is often a load problem, but worn shock absorbers or a broken suspension rod will cause it too. Top-loaders with Super Speed or an ActiveWave agitator have their own drive and lid-lock circuits. In townhouses with the laundry upstairs, a slow leak from a torn door boot or loose hose can go unnoticed until it stains the ceiling, so we look beneath the drum while the panels are off.
Common failure points on Samsung washers
- Pump filter packed with lint and coins
- 5C or 5E drain code mid-cycle
- Door lock failing to engage (dE or dL)
- Worn shock absorbers banging in spin
- Door boot torn and dripping
- Inlet valve slow to fill (4C)

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Not necessarily. The first thing to check is the small filter behind the access door at the lower front, which often collects hair ties, coins and lint. Put down towels, since it holds water. If the filter is clear and the code returns, the drain hose or pump motor is next.
Often it can. Upper-floor framing flexes more than a concrete slab, so leveling feet and shock absorbers matter more. We check both, look at the suspension and the drum bearing, and tell you whether a part has worn or the machine just needs to be set up again.
