Booking online? The LG washer model number in the form lets us check parts before we arrive.
Step one covers the appliance; step two, your contact details. We follow up to book the visit.
LG Washer Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords
We are independent and have no tie to LG. If the washer is still inside its LG warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.
How a Washer Repair Visit Works
Tell Us What's Wrong
Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.
Diagnosis at Your Home
The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.
A Price Before Work
We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.
Repair and Check
The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.
How LG designs its washers
LG front-loaders use a direct-drive motor, a door lock that must confirm before filling, and a drain pump with a front access filter. The codes point the way: OE for drain problems, IE for slow fill, dE for door lock trouble, UE for an unbalanced load and LE when the motor senses it can't turn freely. LE on a light load often comes down to the rotor position sensor or stator windings rather than a seized drum. Bearings eventually wear and announce themselves with a roar during spin. Top-loaders add their own lid lock and a simpler drive. In upstairs closets, a leaking door boot or pump filter cap causes ceiling damage below, so we look for the real source before replacing anything.
Common failure points on LG washers
- OE drain code from blocked pump filter
- dE door lock not confirming
- LE rotor position sensor fault
- Tub bearings roaring in spin
- Door boot torn at bottom fold

Still have a question?
Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.
Behind the small panel at the lower front is the pump filter. Set a shallow pan down, let the water out through the little hose, and clear the filter. Look for a kink in the drain hose too. If OE returns after that, we test the pump itself.
Not necessarily. The rotor position sensor or a loose harness can make the control think the motor is stuck. We check the sensor and stator before recommending a motor part.
