Avanti Washer Repair for Owners, Renters and Landlords

We are independent and have no tie to Avanti. If the washer is still inside its Avanti warranty, the manufacturer should be your first call. Once that coverage has ended, include the model number and the symptom in your booking so parts can be looked up ahead of the visit.

Stacked & closet laundry
Townhouses and condos often put a stacked washer-dryer in an upstairs closet, so a small drip can end up staining the room underneath. Tell us where the machines sit.
Condo & high-rise rules
Many managed buildings ask for a certificate of insurance, a reserved freight elevator or set work hours. Check with yours and pass the rules along when you book.
Parking & access
Visitor spaces, garage clearance, gate codes and front-desk sign-in all shape a visit. Mention them at booking so nothing holds up the diagnosis.
Rentals & landlords
A tenant can book the visit. We report the fault and the price to the owner or property manager, who signs off before any work starts.
Garages, heat & humidity
A garage fridge or freezer can struggle through a hot, humid summer or a hard cold snap without any part failing. Check the temperature range in its manual.
Straight answers
When an older appliance isn't worth repairing, we say so and explain exactly which part failed.

How a Washer Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us What's Wrong

Name the make, add the model number if it is handy, and describe the symptom. A picture of the label inside the door lets us check parts.

02

Diagnosis at Your Home

The technician tests the appliance along with its power, water, drain, gas or vent connections until the fault is confirmed.

03

A Price Before Work

We name the failed part and give you the cost of fixing it. Work starts only after you agree.

04

Repair and Check

The part is installed and the appliance is run through a cycle so you can watch it working.

Inside an Avanti washer

Avanti's compact washers are top-loaders built for small spaces, and many are designed to be rolled to a kitchen sink and connected with a quick-connect adapter. That portability is also where a lot of trouble starts. A drain hose left kinked behind the cabinet, a faucet adapter that leaks, or a machine sitting on an uneven floor produces most of our calls. Inside, the parts that fail are a small drain pump that jams on a sock or coins, a lid switch that won't close the circuit, and a drive motor or belt that can't spin a heavy load. We run a drain and spin test, check the lid switch with a meter, and pull the pump before calling any board a fault.

Common failure points on Avanti washers

  • Drain pump jammed by small items
  • Lid switch not signaling closed
  • Faucet adapter leaking under pressure
  • Belt slipping on a full load
  • Unbalanced shaking on an uneven floor

Faults shared by every make are explained on the main washer repair page.

FAQ

Avanti Washer FAQ

Brief answers to what customers most often ask us. Don't see yours? Ask when you call, or add it to the notes when you book online.

Still have a question?

Get in touch with the brand, the symptom and, if you can find it, the model number. Some things we can answer right away; others need a technician in front of the machine.

It can if the closet has a proper drain and water supply, and a drain pan under it is a good idea wherever a leak would damage a ceiling below. The machine should also sit level on a solid floor, since compact washers walk when they're off balance.

Usually the machine can't get the water out, so it can't spin. We check the drain hose for a kink or a high loop, clear the pump, and test the pump motor. If the water drains but the tub won't spin, we look at the belt, the lid switch and the motor.
